Kenyan, Irish, English and Somali, Habida was born and raised in Nairobi. She attended Loreto Convent Msongari and Rusinga School in Kenya where she was involved in a small community-acting troupe for a number of years, which sparked her love for creativity and acting. Habida began her further studies in Theatre at Lewisham College, London. She would later nurture her passion for music while studying Musical Theatre and Performing Arts at Kennesaw State University, USA. Since 2013, she has been active in developing her music career and today is celebrated for being one of Kenya's most traveled artists. She continues to express her cultural inspirations and travel tales through her music and acting.
